Baltimore Serene Snowflakes and Pens Swaps

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

The excitement of going to the Stampin’ Up! Balitmore Regional convention is so exciting!  I had to make something different, so I used acetate with StazOn White ink to make these cards.  The inside words are from the SU! Sizzlits Decorative Strip, Join In The Cheer.  Stamp set is Serene Snowflakes.

Isn’t nice to get something nice that you can really use?  How about a pen?  The pens are a simple pen that you can take the ends off and easily put back on.  Here’s a little hint: Before inserting paper inside pen, role the paper around a pencil to give it some curl.  This will help the paper slide in easier and prevent bending the paper.

Products used:
2 1/4″x7/8″ White or Very Vanilla Cardstock
Circle Circus and Hello Again stamp sets
Tag punches, large and small
5 petal punch
Inks- Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black

I’m so excited about going to Stampin’ Up!’s Regional Seminar in Balimore this weekend!  My friend, Tiffany, and I are going together.  We’re hoping to meet up with friends from Delaware and Pennsylvania who are on the Impressmeteam and Late Night Stampers groups.  I love to get swaps so here is a picture of just a few of the swaps I’m making to take with me on Saturday.

Post-It On Your Catalog

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

Happy Labor Day weekend to all!  Here’s a quick tip for the weekend and to make your holiday reading easier through your 2010 Stampin’ Up! catalog.  Post-It has Durable Tabs that you can write on and really stick to your pages.  Also, the sticky part is clear, so if it goes over any of your images, you can still see them through the tab!  This is going to make it a lot easier to find stamps by categories, the ribbons, buttons and papers.  Now go enjoy reading your Stampin’ Up! catalog, make a list, then e-mail your order.

Special Gift

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

My wonderful friend, Diana, had an adorable baby girl in January.  When I went to make her a scrapbook as a gift, I did not have any scrapbooks.  This is when I made this book by connecting the pages with ribbon!  It turned out absolutely adorable and I will be making more of these in the future.

On daddy’s lap

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

There was no other place that CKO wanted to be more than her daddy’s lap.  She would grab her blanket and go cuddle up with daddy.  On the day I took these pictures, she had just finished chewing on a green marker and she was tired after all her coloring.  Once again, she took her blanket over to daddy and cuddled up with him.  Oooh this makes my heart melt!
