Double Slider 5-Petal Punch Card

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Have you tried this Double Slider card yet?  You can make it to any size you want and is a very versatile card or gift.  I made this one for my good Cynthia Richards, who is now part of my Stampin’ Up! team!  Cynthia and I have been cropping together for a few years now and are really having fun with our addiction.  She inspires me to be a better person and crafter.   If you haven’t checked out her site, please do so at http://www.inkadoodlecreations.blogspot.com/ Let her know I referred you. :-)

Working on the directions for this card, so check back in a few days for an update.

Baroque Motifs Look Alike

Baroque Motifs Stampin’ Up!

It’s TWINS!  Fraternal twins, not identical.  I received this beautiful card (on the right) from my son’s teacher.  It’s a beautiful card, so I had to make it using my Stampin’ Up! supplies.  Have you ever seen a card you loved and knew you could make it?  This was my challenge to make a twin card.  Here are the supplies I used:  Craft Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink and Whisper White inks.   Cardstock is Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.  Baroque Motifs and All In A Row(retired) stamp sets by Stampin’ Up!.
Using the Craft Chocolate Chip ink turned out much richer on the Pretty In Pink cardstock, but you can still use the Classic ink pad if you don’t have Craft.  You need Craft Pretty In Pink ink for the dots(All In A Row stamp set)  around the edge of the Chocolate Chip cardstock.  Fraternal twins, but one cost much less and was so much more fun putting together!

Circle Circus Color Crafty

Saturday, July 24th, 2010

Circle Circus stamp set Stampin' Up!

Do you feel like being crafty?  So do I!  Get your Craft inks, Circle Circus stamp set, and some cardstock, now you’re on your way to creating your very own crafty background!  Circle Circus is one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin’ Up! and he was calling me to do something special with him.  Him?  Who is he?  Don’t you call your stamp sets a ‘he’ or ’she’?  In order to develop your full creativitiy, one must develop a bond  with your loving stamps, inks, and embellishments.  That, and I like having fun!  Therefore, I will be responding to my stamp sets as, ’he’ or ’she’.
Now on to the crafty business.  Here are the supplies I used:  Craft inks in colors Bashful Blue, Pretty In Pink and So Saffron.  Cardstock is Chocolate Chip, So Saffron and Bashful Blue.  Satin ribbon is 5/8″  Chocolate Chip.  Circle Circus stamp set by Stampin’ Up!.
To make this is very simple.  Use your Circle Circus stamps and craft inks, stamped on Chocolate Chip cardstock.  You can use any color combinations and any stamp set, but you have to use Craft inks for the images to show up on dark cardstock.  Heat set the images with your heat gun and watch the magical images appear on your paper!  You’ve just been crafty!
