Beyond The Garden Petal Cone Box

What a great feeling to find another use for your Petal Cone Die!  Yes this was made with the Petal Cone Die and my Big Shot.  I used 3 Petal Cone Dies, scored and cut bottom, so it made a flat bottom, instead of a point.  I saw this in a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Stampin’ Success magazine, but I have not seen any directions on how to make this.  Therefore, I made up my own!  Those too will be posted when I get the documents created.  The poppies are handmade and die cut from Melon Mambo cardstock, with the retired Blossoms and Leaves die.  I had to snip off the pointed ends of the flowers, so they were flatter at the tips.  You could use the Island Floral Bigz Die to create this flower too.  The inside of the poppy was created using the Boho Blossoms punch and then cut with paper snips on the edges.

Product all Stampin’ Up!, unless otherwise noted:
Cardstock- Lucky Limeade and Melon Mambo
DSP- Beyond The Garden
Ink- Melon Mambo
Accessories:  Blossoms and Leaves Sizzlits(retired), Petal Cone Bigz Die, Circle cutters, Big Shot
Punches:  Boho Blossoms

Double Slider 5-Petal Punch Card

Wednesday, July 27th, 2011

Have you tried this Double Slider card yet?  You can make it to any size you want and is a very versatile card or gift.  I made this one for my good Cynthia Richards, who is now part of my Stampin’ Up! team!  Cynthia and I have been cropping together for a few years now and are really having fun with our addiction.  She inspires me to be a better person and crafter.   If you haven’t checked out her site, please do so at http://www.inkadoodlecreations.blogspot.com/ Let her know I referred you. :-)

Working on the directions for this card, so check back in a few days for an update.

Jar Contest

Sunday, September 19th, 2010

The O’Wheely Club Ladies have entered their jars for the first of many contests to come.  The contest rules were simple, decorate a jar.  They used any materials they had and were not restricted to just Stampin’ Up! products.  There will be a large letter on the picture, the above picture has an “E”.  If you like the “E” jar the best, put “I vote for E in your comment”.  All the pictures will be posted by tonight and set up for you to vote for your favorite!
